New Years Eve: Clubbing BARCELONA

Tips and What to do in BARCELONA for New Year´s Eve:

For a no-holds-barred, all-night rave option, look no further than our very own Mark Dixxx and his NYE Block Party at AdriAntic. Doors at 1am.

ADRIANTIC. Via Trajana, 11 (Sant Adrià de Besòs) €5 / €10

This year Barcelona’s big hitter, Razzmatazz, has eschewed the big name acts, relying on their flawless party reputation with residents DJs AmableGato and more. Bells and whistle come courtesy of free t-shirts, party bags and grapes at midnight. Entry includes two drinks; doors at 10:30pm.

RAZZMATAZZ. C/ Almogàvers, 122 (Poblenou) €40 / €50 / €60

For one of Barcelona’s chicest options, head to the wrap-around windows of the W Barcelona hotel’s top floor Eclipse bar. DJ Shega will keep the booties of the beautiful people shaking. Plus, the entry include two glasses of Veuve Clicquot. Doors at midnight.

ECLIPSE BAR. Pl. Rosa dels Vents 1 (Barceloneta) €50 / €100

A more underground (and affordable) BOP NYE night awaits with house and electronic disco by DJs Bill Shakes and Dandylion at Rosé. Entry includes glass of cava, doors at 11pm.

ROSÉ. C/ Casp, 17 (Eixample) €10 / €15

Live it up with a young, fun-loving and international crowd at Shôko and mark New Year’s in Sevilla,LondonRío de Janeiro and New York. Entry includes two drinks, doors at 12:30am, dinner options also available.

SHÔKO. Passeig Marítim, 36 (Port Olímpic) €50 / €60

DJ Glass Hat spins feel-good pop, rock, ‘80s, ‘90s, indie, electro and disco. There’ll be surprise gifts, a great atmosphere, and, as it’s his birthday on January 1st, a free shot for those who remember to wish him many happy returns when the clock strikes 12

TARANTOS CLUB. Jamboree at Plaça Reial, 17 (Barri Gòtic) €20 / €25

Your Catalan friends will have fond memories of Otto Zutz; they’re still going strong after all these years and planning a night of R&B, hip hop and house with residents Marco DaSoulSacha and more. Or upstairs in the Los Altos private club it’s Champagne a Go Go. Entry includes two drinks; doors at midnight.

OTTO ZUTZ. C/ Lincoln, 15 (Sant Gervasi) €30 / €35 / €50

And those fun-loving Dutch brothers 2manydjs just can’t seem to get enough of Barcelona; they’ll be on the decks at the newly opened, historic venue Teatre Principal. Doors at 12:30am.

TEATRE PRINCIPAL. La Rambla, 27 (Raval) €50

House music legend Kerri Chandler is flying in from New York to headline the party at Barcelona’s newest nightclub KER. Doors at 1am.

KER. C/ Tarragona, 141 (Sants) €25

Finally, for those who won’t be done as day breaks, there’s always the New Year’s Day party. For serious dance aficionados the new Elrow City is offering up a techno legend: Richie Hawtin.

ELROW CITY. KER at C/ Tarragona, 141 (Sants) €50
